Indian Association for Career and Livelihood Planning

Membership:

1. Any Indian citizen involved in any form of youth welfare activity or career support activity with other age groups could apply for membership of the Association.
2. Associate Membership will be offered to persons from other countries, who are involved in career guidance and counselling.

3. All members will receive a Certificate of Membership from the IACLP.  

Fellowship:

• A member of the IACLP could apply to become a Fellow of the Association if he or she possesses at least a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university in any field, with formal training in career guidance and counselling. This could include a degree, diploma or certificate in guidance and counselling.

• Members who do not possess formal qualifications in guidance and counselling but who are able to reliably demonstrate field experience in delivering career guidance and counselling services are also eligible to apply for Fellowship.

• Award of Fellowship is subject to the appearing for and passing the IACLP Fellowship Examination.     

Why become a Fellow of the IACLP?

• Members who qualify to be Fellows will be awarded the Certificate of Fellowship by the IACLP.  This certificate would indicate that the holder of the certificate has passed through a rigorous selection procedure and has demonstrated that he/she is capable of delivering career counselling services that meet the quality standards set by the Association.

All Fellows and members are eligible for:

1. Discounts to all events and training programmes organised by the Association.

2. One copy of the Association’s Journal at a 50% discounted rate as and when it is published.

3. Free access to the resources compiled by the Association (see Resources).

4. Discounts to the conferences of the International Association for Educational and Vocational Guidance (IAEVG) and access to the IAEVG newsletters.  Requests pertaining to IAEVG's journal, the International Journal for Educational and Vocational Guidance (IJEVG), can be met by writing to info@iaclp.org.
